Homework!!

Yes this is definitely not my favorite topic, but now with a big kindergartner I have had to assist a bit. Well the other night he was asked to write all of his "it" words that he can find while reading his books.
Hit, sit, lit, were a couple and then there was
t_ _, and another naughty one with an sh. He came up to his dad and asked for his blessing on his homework, he graciously said those weren't correct, and asked me what kind of book was he reading????? Jaxson had no idea they were inapproriate, I guess someday we will have to elaborate it was a good laugh for us though!!!

He is home!!!!!

Here is my FAVORITE nephew!!!!! He is a little mad and doesn't want his picture taken, but we still will. He finally came home and is lovin every minute along with all of us and his sweet family. He has met new cousins, (Emersyn). Notice he is giving her the "who cares look". He is so cute and changing every time I see him. Mya wants to see baby Lucas everyday, and she asks whenever we talk to aunt Molly. We sure are so excited he is home and can't wait to have many of play dates with the kids!!!!

indecent exposure

Well that has been this little girl this weekend. We went to the park on Saturday to let the kids enjoy the fresh air and eat a doughnut and about 20 minutes into the playtime I notice Mya over in the grass with her pants down. Mind you we just went to the bathroom at home, she had to go #2. She says ,"I poop". I was shocked and sure enough a dog pile in the grass. She was clean about it though and none of it was on her pants. What is a mom to do, leave the park and ruin the time for Jaxson and his cousin, or just pull up the pants and clean up later. Well that is what we did and she didn't even care.

Well I was working yesterday and came home a bit early and Jaxson met me outside and said, "MOM watch out for that poop!" I was a bit off guard and stopped to see another dog pile in the driveway, mind you we don't have a dog or live by any, but sure enough our own daughter at it once again, relieving herself in our driveway. Adam told me he discussed with her that we only go in the toilet, and I didn't need to further the talk! Well needless to say I hope our neighbor didn't see her outside by herself, with her pants down. How embarrassing for us and her!!!!!! (that's what she said) Great parenting I know!

BUMBO

I'm in a big girl seat!!!!! I love it, love it, love it. I borrowed this from a friend and she is so cute in it. She loves to be involved in everything, cooking, bills, mail, phone conversations. She is getting so big and so fast, my mom and sister haven't seen her in 2 weeks and I know she has a new thigh roll by now. See you later I am having Bumbo time.

I am a bit crazy!!!!

Yes this is how I feel sometimes!!!!! A bit cracked out and crazy. Who was supervising might I add, well Adam and I were both home and she was unpacking the makeup. I love this girl and her funny ways. We went to the Doctor and she had a double ear infection. She has missed school all week for a low fever 99 to be exact. She was sent home on Wed and I kept her home for good measure Thurs. Well today she woke up so sad and probably felt like this. I have loved having her home a little more and spending some mommy and me time. We went to Target to pick up her medicine and she got a icee and popcorn which made her day!!!!!

Whitney 4 months

I am 4 months old tomorrow!!!! I went to the doctor today and I am 13 pounds 2 ounces and 23 3/4 inches long. I am such a smiley happy girl and love to talk to you. I was a sad baby when I got my 4 shots today. I had my big sister there and mommy to give me comfort afterwards. I was a brave girl and got lots of hugs and kisses as a reward. I am a rolly polley girl and can almost roll over.

Baby Lucas

He is finally here and long awaited!!!!!!!! His name is Lucas Ryan and I am a bit biased, but adorable I think. Don't you love the lips!!! He is doing good, just on a bit of oxygen. Keep him in your prayers and soon they will be back and welcomed by many to the valley of the sun. Love you guys congrats!!!!!!

The baby is coming!!!

Yes my sister is in Utah and the baby should be here with a name by tomorrow!!!!! I am so excited and can't wait to meet him and know what he is to be called! I am so grateful for my sister and her husband and the great example they are in our lives. How blessed we are to share in this great miracle of their family. I know he will be loved by so many and will be a choice spirit of our heavenly father. I only wish I was in Utah now to see him sooner! Love you guys!

It has been a year!!!!!

*****Finding renters for our old house what a task, including lots of painting and cleaning while 8 months pregnant

*****Whitney!!!!! weighing 7,11 not hard to forget those stats or the cheeks for that matter

*****Grandpa Bobby, died and we had a great celebration of his life on the Ferry with lots of family

*****Jaxson started Kindergarten, what a milestone, but lots of tears from his mommy

*****Adam turned 30, still so handsome and young at heart

*****Mya starts Preschool and rides the Skool Bus and loves every minute

*****Cutting down the tree for Christmas and searching for 4 hours for that perfect one, and getting it home to just fall over after being all decorated!!!!

*****Christmas in Durango and lots of cold snow, ice skating, skiing, polar express, and memories with family

*****Back to work for Abby after 17 weeks of being home welcome to Daddy's Daycare

*****Many new and old friends, laughs, and memories to remember for a lifetime!


We can't wait to see what is to come to the Kobels in 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
