Happy 8

Today is our sweet boy's 8th birthday and he had a great day!!!!!

He got to celebrate for the last few days with half days at school both Thursday and Friday. He had a special lunch at chick fil a on Thursday and family pictures with treats on Thursday night. He woke up Friday and got a letter in the mail from his Bobba with 8 dollars he was ecstatic!!!!! He had pop cicles at school for his birthday treat and then we made a trip to the mall for a Lego store surprise!!!! Well it was a huge craziness with building a life size YODA and we never did get into the store because of the huge line to get inside. He did get to build a brick or two to contribute to the Yoda building. We met up with his Bobba and his cousins and they had a great time! We then went on the way home to rent a red box and have cookies for the nighttime treat. He also got 10 dollars from us to buy anything her wanted too. What money bags he is now, and didn't take his wallet today because he wanted me to spend my money he said! We woke up and her opened his presents and got some Lego's :) He was a happy man we then went to get doughnuts and go play at the gym. I got a little workout in and the kids got face painting and stickers and fun. Worked out for all of us! Then he had a soccer game with some great fans (Bobba and Grandpa) thanks for coming! He played great and after that he picked to have dinner at Olive Garden. We did that and then he wanted to sleepover at Bobbas and go to the Trunk or treat. I just got off the phone to tell him goodnight and he was so happy he had such a fantastic day.

He is a special little boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family.
This birthday is a special one and he gets to be baptized in a few weeks. He also gets to start boy scouts next week and already has his shirt and book and it so excited!

This boy is a great student! We just had conferences and Mrs. Robb says he is so respectful and smart and he has all A's.

He also LOVES Lego's and is really into Prince of Persia sets right now!

He is a great soccer player and is quite competitive.

He is so sweet to his sisters and usually helps them out whenever he is home

He is so sweet and always says mom you need a hug?

He is very obedient and has a bed made and lean room every morning

He likes to play X box whenever he can and he like star wars

He is a great example to his dad and I and always is trying to choose the right!

He is great at math and loves to read chapter books

He is our baby still and I will never forget the night he was born and how excited we were and our hopes and dreams for him. He is more than we ever imagined and continues to be. We love you more than ever and hope you have a great birthday!

charity

From this past Relief Society broadcast, I wasn't able to go to so I was reading up on it. What a great quote from our dear prophet and oh so true! I hope to slow down and show more of this to people around me.

Charity is having patience with someone who has let us down. It is resisting the impulse to become offended easily. It is accepting weaknesses and shortcomings. It is accepting people as they truly are. It is looking beyond physical appearances to attributes that will not dim through time. It is resisting the impulse to categorize others.

Charity, that pure love of Christ, is manifest when a group of young women from a singles ward travels hundreds of miles to attend the funeral services for the mother of one of their Relief Society sisters. Charity is shown when devoted visiting teachers return month after month, year after year to the same uninterested, somewhat critical sister. It is evident when an elderly widow is remembered and taken to ward functions and to Relief Society activities. It is felt when the sister sitting alone in Relief Society receives the invitation, “Come—sit by us.”

In a hundred small ways, all of you wear the mantle of charity. Life is perfect for none of us. Rather than being judgmental and critical of each other, may we have the pure love of Christ for our fellow travelers in this journey through life. May we recognize that each one is doing her best to deal with the challenges which come her way, and may we strive to do our best to help out.

Busy

Well thank heavens for sleep and sweet peacefulness in our house! We have been busy and I am wondering if it is ever going to slow down till Christmas. Here are the kids snuggled up because both of them are to afraid to sleep alone!
These gals love to be together most of the time and we have been driving around most days to see a baby horse that was born. They think it is so cool that they can get out of their car seat and sit together and look out the window. Whit always says whenever we get in the car now"bebe horsee".
We went to the doctor a few weeks ago and little miss was 23 pounds and so divaish!!!! She had her baby and glasses and was the star of the office! She did get 3 shots and was so sad but cheered up quick knowing she would get 2 suckers!
We went to a princess at Chick fil a night and the girls got free dinner if they dressed up. They thought it was great, and Jaxson was at a pirate birthday and was busy so it worked out great!
We had Mya's eye appointment and I guess this baby might be in many pictures until this phase is over. Well she did great and her eyes are working fine. No more check ups for 2 years!!!!!
So I may turn into a Diva and hide for a bit, parties, family pictures, soccer, dance, church, birthdays, baptisms, and trips are coming our way. Hopefully can keep up with the updates until then_TTFN!

Cool times atthe cabin~

We got to go up north to the cabin for fall break and had a great relaxing time! My brother in law rented a golf cart that was the hit of the weekend. Here we are on a joy ride with the family!!!!
The kids were entertained for hours with sticks and searching for rocks with "gold" they had so much fun together and got along great!
The girls played dress up one morning that it was rather cool (45) and they needed to stay inside. Dancing and changing outfits lots of times made everyone smile!!!! Here is my little flapper girl lookin so cute!!!!!
The models Sydni and Jaycie with Mya lookin a bit drunk! Sweet little girls!
The hammock is always a hit too with laying and resting and swinging and swinging. It makes me a little sick so I have to not move if I lay in it. These girls sure love their Bobba and enjoy every time she is around!
The 3 musketeers were trouble trying to climb the rafters. They got really good going down the steps to the lower level and were great explorers too. They love to go on walks and get dirty.
Our little son will be really driving sooner than we think. He will be 8 this week and I can't believe it. He is such a great kid and a good example to his sisters.
Papa was home and it was so great to have his sweet smile and laughter around! We love him lots!
Adam and the kids before our crazy ride!!! Everyone got a turn to drive and I felt pretty ill once we landed back home!
The town square was having a craft show and so we got to go walk around and get some water balloon punchers. Also we had the best mini doughnuts ever!
What a sweetie! She is so great!
I sure love this guy and all he puts up with from me. He is such a great dad and husband and I appreciate that he even watched the kids so my sister and parents could go out to a movie one night it was a great break!

There was also a cool car show that we got to see and the kids were interested for about 10 minutes. Oh well we had a great time as always at the good ol cabin and hope to return again soon.

Party Party

We got invited to a fabulous party for the kids today and the girls had a spooktacular time!

They wore their Halloween clothes because Mya didn't want to dress up. We got to hang out and play with our sweet friends. Mya and Ella are only 6 days apart and are growing up soooooo fast. They played tons of fun games and decorated pumpkins and had a pinata!
Mya was on a sugar high for sure all day! Whit also couldn't get enough yummies!
Here she is piggin out on the cheese balls, they were a big hit! Kellie also had these ghoul oranges filled with fruit, and cinnamon sugar ghost chips, mummy hot dogs, and a snake pizza. It was such a fun time and makes me want to savor and enjoy every holiday. We came home with lots of loot and Jaxson was a bit jealous I guess we need to take a date and get a pumpkin for him too now. Happy Haunting or Partying!!!!!

A day

So a day in our life these days is going great! We have a good routine and mostly happy restful days! Here are the girls prior to getting Mya's hair done :) They sure play great together and love to be around each other as long and Whitney does what Mya tells her to do!
Sweet Whitney sure loves her sister and is turning into a mini Mya for sure! She likes to get herself dressed and walk around in "slip slops", and have a purse and baby all the time! Lets say it takes us usually 5-10 minutes more than average to get out of the house with these girls and their baggage!!!!

Here is a sweet girl at school working on the "puter" she loves dot com! She says no mom put on "dot com!" She loves to wake up these days and get dressed in the greatest ensembles of skirts and sweaters. Then she gathers her things and comes to tell me to wake up. then the rest of us wake up get ready breakfast and out the door. We have been good at going to school, then to the gym on most days. Then we drop Mya at school and come home for a few hours of clean up and catch up and shower and off to pick her up. Then home for lunch and rest time and then Jaxson comes home and daddy. We get homework done have dinner and maybe go out for an errand or a treat and home for baths and bed. Love a routine and stickin to it! Usually happy kids and mom are the end result which is a great end to a full day!
