Dentist Anyone????

Yes that has been going on a lot around here. J went first last month and here he is getting a cavity filled. Mya saw this picture and said" Bubba sick, bubba die." I nearly cried my eyes out and reassured her no he was just getting some special medicine. What kids think is so scary! Next went Adam and he went back 5 times over the last 3 weeks because it was never fixed, well after changing dentists he is no longer hurting tonight. I then went today to the new dentist and had good news no cavities as usual and a clean slate. I however despise the whole process sitting in the chair hands clammy, listening to the scraping and grinding, all the while tasting blood and watching the eyes of someone inches from my face. What a experience that I don't look forward to every 6 months. To another 6 moths for all of us, next time Mya is going to join the fun!

Matching!!!

I may be a bit biased but these are the cutest kids ever! I was taking the matching girl pics when my handsome boy wanted to be in some too. He matches too!!!! What a great lookin group as my grandpa would say. I love the dresses thanks Mol!

New Life

So today we stopped down the road to see this little horse and it's mama. Jaxson and Mya were mesmerized by it and how little it was. We talked about life and how babies grow in their mommies tummy. J wanted to know why it didn't hatch out of an egg. We then discussed mammals , however then he wanted to know how they come out. I quickly said out their bottom. He replied,"So they poop it out". I said kinda and the conversation was over. I don't know how ready I am for all of this serious talk. I guess I better get ready things and Kids are asking things younger and younger. What a miracle life is and the great gift we are given.

19 days left

Yes we are counting down ladies and gentlmen!!!(if there are any gentlemen I guess?) The first year of school is coming to a close and this chapter will be over. Jaxson has grown soooo much and learned a ton. He loves his teacher and I know this will be hard to beat for the coming years of school. I still remember my Kindergarten teacher and she is still teaching and we went to visit her for her 70th birthday. She touched my heart for the good and gave me a great love of school. I wish that was how more of my teachers were and I hope that for Jaxson. His teacher Mrs Connelly is truely a gift. She loves those kids and was meant to be a Kindergarten teacher. She make him smile and is always there for a hug or a listening ear. I appreciate her greatly and the good impact she has had educationally and emotionally for him. We will miss you!'

Here is the first day of school and a most recent pic. He has lost 2 teeth this year so grown up, and SILLY!

However no school means no schedule and a bit of a break driving to and from school multiple times a day!!!!! I am not a big fan of loading and unloading! We will find plenty to do with friends, lunch dates, trips, the library, swimming, and more swimming! Hope you all have a happy summer and try to stay cool!

Grass?????

Yes that is what our backyard has finally become. After lots of preparation and help----THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you!!!!! We have a oasis out our window. It looks phenomenal and feels so soft and clean. I quote Jaxson" We don't live in the desert anymore!!!" Well at least it isn't a big dirt bowl back there anymore, however we still do have quite a bit of dirt. It will all come together someday I guess. Now we can have some BBQ's and slip in slide parties hopefully!

Neck massage????

Just a little post about our family and how we all love to have a good ole neck rub!!! My dad instilled this in us while we were really young. Whoever sat behind his seat on road trips was in trouble!!! They were designated as dad's neck massage till the next stop. What a bummer that we all got to be really good. That being said our husband's didn't grow up with that so we have come to train our own kids!!!! J/K These train things usually happen frequently at family dinners and such. Don't know about the tissue in the nose, maybe he had a bad cold. A neck massage training is the agenda for tonight's FHE I think.

Easter

Of course I must post about this great holiday, full of family, fun and our savior. Jaxson had a party on Friday, hunting for sight words he found lots and lots and actually surprised me and noticed a girl who didn't have as many and put some into her basket!!! Nearly brought tears to my eyes, he is such a sweet boy. We went home and had a big game to get ready for which most of my family came to cheer on. It was a blustery cold evening and afterwards Pei Wei was on the menu!!! Yum Yum. We went home and got to bed for the Surprise eggstravaganza was in the AM. It was however cancelled due to a few drops of rain!!!!! J was really disappointed so I tried to make it up to them and we dropped by Sprouts and got a face painting, we picked up some lunch for our dad and uncle who were working hard on our soon to be grassy backyard!!!!! We went to a hunt that evening in the dark with flashlights a very fantastic time and great idea!!! The kids got lots of fun trinkets and loved using their flashlights.
Sunday greeted us with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa and baskets full to the brim of candy and fun. We went to church for a great meeting filled with the spirit and music. Primary was also fun with sharing time and speaking of our Savior. It was a great day with the spirit!!!
We went home and rested up for Bobba's and another egg hunt and baskets and bathing suits a regular tradition!!!! Love a new cute bathing beauty!!!! We had a delectable meal and fun conversation with family and friends and some good old woofle ??? ball in the front yard. What a fun filled weekend and remembrance of our Savior and the great sacrifice he made to allow us to return back to live with him. I am forever grateful.

7 months

This adorable baby with no clothes is 7 months today!!!!! Here she is with her tall skinny cousin! She sure loves him with her arm around him and all! She is a great baby sleeping through the night and eating is her favorite past time. She sits up and plays and loves to smile! We sure do love her lots!

Ah So

Yes last night we went out, my little date Jaxson came too! We celebrated my lil sister's b-day and Molly, Jaycie and the little man came too! We had a great time and the lids thought it was soooooooo cool. The cook played with the fire a lot with the onion volcano and he would touch one side on the grill and the toch the center. They were both amazed that he didn't burn himself. I reinforced that we don't play with fire at home!!!!!!! We then went to Juju Berri for a delightful dessert and came home. Jaxson fell asleep on the way home, what a long day. He can't wait to go back! Especially with the great company!

Sewing 101

Notice the pants, yes made by yours truely!!!! One of the first creations and many more to come!!!! I am so excited and love to craft it up with good friends. The cute baby helps make them look even cuter though.

9 years!!

Love this guy!!!!!! Here is to 39 more!!! We had a belated celebration but it was still fun, and doesn't that cookie look great! I really could use some right now!

Park with Van

So these two are 2nd cousins but they love each other. My cousin was here visiting and the two of them who are 2 weeks apart had a love hate relationship! They have definitely missed each other and Mya asks about him everyday since he has left. We did lots of fun park days, lunches, bowling, movies, the gym, and PPP. Fun times were had by all and lots of memories!!!!

Happy 19 Brie!!!!

Well today is my little sister's big day! She is sooooo beautiful and sweet. All the nieces and nephews love her sooo much can't you tell. They love when she gets to come and watch them and play music and games with them. She is a great sister and being the baby of the family she doesn't get told tat much. t-ball again

Here is the man of the hour!!!! He is soooooo cute in his gear. I love his little smirk and the big hat! He loves t-ball and hit a home run at his first game and got 2 people out at 1st. He also has a proud daddy for his coach and loves that too! I love to watch him play and interact with his friends. His new thing this week was " to be respectful" and "that was not the correct decision". I am a proud mommy!

6 months

Don't let this gal fool you, but she is a cry baby!!!!!! She cannot have me out of her sight for a second. I don't know what to do other that having her cry it out several times during the day. She is a sweetie and loves to snuggle and I love that too! She went to the doctor and is

25.5 inches long

She has started eating food, she loves carrotts and sweet potatoes so far. Tomorrow is green beans!!!! She is so chubby and cut how could you not want to pick her up!

Bowling

We have quite the hx with bowling and the cousin and I. Usually a mishap or 2 occur. This time we figured we would just have a sit out and let the kids have all the fun. We went with some friend and had a great time. Mya even did really good using a ramp right down the middle.

We're back!

Yes it has been a long time. We had my cousin and her son here for the last 3 weeks and not a lot of extra time for blogging. We had a great time with lots of fun times, laughter, and late nights. Keep you posted.
