Happy

Well this is definitely how she hasn't been. All of the kids were sick with colds and fever's for all of spring break. NO FUN!!!! We still managed to go to the park, have some dinner dates, and play with friends. However, no real fun activities of out of town excursions. Oh well, I finally was tired of this gal being so whiny and so we went to the doc today and double ear infections were the cause of this usually chipper child to turn into a little crybaby! Well on some antibiotics and will be better soon. I am off for a 5 day mom trip so needed to be cautious and have everyone healthy for dad time!
Well off to the dentist and hope everyone has a great report, pics to come I am sure!

TRAMPOLINE TIME

Well this is what happens at our house everyday about 4:00. Daddy comes home and we are all so excited and it is jump time! Some come in their PJ's too!
Most get flipped and bounced around. They continue to come back for more and they learn new tricks.
The little one usually just cries if she is left out. She knows how to get up there all by herself now. She pushes the slide over to it and the other day I looked out he door and there she was having a gay old time jumpin by herself.
Dad gets a lot of wrestle time in his boy loves it!
Double bounce anyone? That is why Jaxson wants a grown up to bounce because he goes high up. This has been the greatest toy ever thanks to Santa, and I can't wait for summer to put the sprinkler under it like we did when we were kids. Happy jumping!

Museum

So a few weeks ago we got to go to the Children's museum. On the first Friday on the month it is free and we wanted to do something different. The kids had a ball! Here is Mya making pizza with pieces of cloth.
Jaxson and the other's riding through the car wash.
Whitney picking her mom some flowers and Mya trying to steal every flower from her. What a scene that was made, yikes!
The choo choo through the car wash! They loved it!
Whitney cleaning up in the Kitchen. I think you need to teach em young. She was so proud of her self and so dang cute with that apron on..
Chef Jaycie with her pizza creation. We were glad she got to come and have fun with us too!
Mya and dad got to work together and make a sweet Valentine!
Chef Mya was putting all of the pizza's in the oven. It was a very fun evening and lots for the little guys to do. They played in sand, the ball maze, and the noodle forest was a huge hit! We will for sure go again in a couple months especially for free!

Snowflake

So 10 years have gone by since we were hitched! We got to take a weekend getaway planned by my sweet husband and with no help. I made the arrangements for the kids and we were off.
Adam had planned a white water rafting trip and 2 nights at the bed a breakfast.

Herr he is enjoying a treat in out huge bed, They had cakes and cookies every night and we didn't miss out.
We ate dinner at a great Italian place and we were the only guests. It was romantic and the food was great. We also had a divine meal at the B &B. They cooked steak and salmon for us and we ate by candlelight with sparkling cider. I we really impressed.
Here is some of the great scenery on the drive. We actually drove home through a bunch of snow but no pics of that.
On the river raft day it was perfect weather and we had a great time. We put on our outfits which included a very snug wet suit, a wool sweater, a rain breaker jacket, life vest, and a very fashionable helmet!
I thought I looked superb! What do you think. I was embarrassed, but everyone looked just a silly and we laughed together.
Here is Adam ready and so happy I was happy. He bought us some sunglasses securing ropes so we wouldn't lose them. We had a fun time and very entertaining. We were on the boat with a man from London and his son Caspian. They were so funny. Adam jumped in the water and wanted me to, but it was freezing cold. Even the guide thought he was crazy. We stopped for a fajita lunch and off we went again. We boated for about 4 hours and the scenery was amazing. We caught quite a few rapids and right before we were ready to dock at the last rapid Ad went to take a photo op and flung the camera out of the boat. NOOOOOOOOO It was too late the thing sunk like a rock and was no where to be found, so that is why no action shots.
We had a great time and I truly love this guy more now than ever. He is a hard worker, and great dad and a unbelievable friend and husband to me. I hope he is always in charge because that is what I loved most was the surprise and great place we went. Love ya babe!

First grade report

Yes he is only in first grade and had to do a research paper and presentation. I didin't have to do one of those until at least 4th grade. Well he did great and so did mom I guess.
He researched on the computer and got to see the actual animal at the zoo and then presented to the class.
They had a display night to show off and we all went to cheer him on. We are so proud of him and the funny, smart, sweet boy he is I hope he stays that way!

Ice Skating

Last week was my nieces birthday and we got to spend the day ice skating. We took Jaxson out of school early which was such a treat, dropped off Whitney with Bobba (thanks so Much!!!) and off we went. They were all a bit nervous and so was I to be truthful. I just didn't want to break anything.
Here is a sweetie who was ready to go home about 5 minutes after we got there. She was a trooper and loved to skate with Uncle Elliot the most. I think it was because she felt the most safe as he held under each if her arms and pretty much carried her around the rink. What a guy!
Taking a break with Syd. They wanted to watch and warm up a bit.
Jaxson was a pro by the end and let everyone know. He was so fast and only fell a couple times.
Getting ready for the north pole ice skating.
Here is 3 of them I guess the birthday girl was MIA. She was having too much fun no time for a pic.
Here are the 2 of them oops I think he is on his way down.
My dad was in town and he came to spend some special time with his girls and grand kids. He was a great laugh and we had so much fun. He can pretty much brighten our day just being around him and we love when he is here. Thanks for makin us smile and being our dad.

A great day was had by all. A few blisters and cold hands but all survived. Happy birthday Jaycie!

Catch Up!

Here is my cute husband!!!! He went on a fishing overnighter and caught a couple fish. The one on the right is a 2.5 pounder. He was really excited when he came home and I guess it is big enough to mount and put with his last big catch. I love to see him so excited and the kids were proud of their daddy too! Whitney even touched it as it was flopping around. Well it is RIP in our freezer waiting to be gutted and painted. Good catch Ad!

Happy Anniversary!

That's right we were married today!!!! Unlike the sweet photo of this little guy it has been 10 YEARS!!!!!! We woke up in the morning and our lives have never been the same. We got to celebrate one of the best days with our friends and family. We had a awesome party and my dear husband serenaded me with a sweet song. Though not all bliss, many many great times and a lot of fun have been shared!
Putting in 3 yards, and moving 5 times!!!! Adam is quite a pro with sprinklers along with lots of others who were so kind to help. We love a grassy backyard! We also love to move I guess but we are stayin put for awhile!
Lots of family pics and holidays! This was a Thanksgiving in my parents backyard. Many parties and celebrations, surprises and smiles. He sure does bring out the best in all of us making us laugh everyday!
Many beautiful flowers and plants have been given and I love them every time! None yet but I am sure they will come. I am not the best green thumb and he still loves me anyways.
Visiting the hospital to have our sweet children. Adam always being great, but he definitely has gotten better as time goes by. With Jaxson he almost hyperventilated and with Whitney he was my biggest fan! Such sweet times as he blessed each one of them also and shared his sweet testimony with them soon after their births.
Family trips and reunion's. We went to Lake Tahoe and had a fabulous trip and lots of water skiing and Jaxson really did have fun even though he doesn't look to happy. Adam was the best auctioneer and we had a great time being together and renewing those family ties.
Sadness of my grandma's on both sides and my grandpa passing and celebrating their lives. We went on a ferry dinner ride and will never forget them. Telling stories of them to our children hoping to always remember them.
Restoring Old Blue and taking many trips to fish since. I have learned to appreciate my husbands love for those slimy smelly animals.
More family trips and fun in Missouri. Lots of fishing and even and visit to Nauvoo and learning more of Joseph Smith and enjoying that experience.
Trips together to Michigan, Peru, Colorado, California, and stayin in town too! Solo trips for him to South Dakota, lots of camping trips, and fishing. Trips for me to Colorado and lots of girls nights away.
Along with moving 5 times, building a house together. Lots of hard choices, arguing and and communicating! We sure do love the end result though.
Our 2nd baby and a massive growth on my face. Trials and love were shared and an awesome addition to our family.

We have had so many things to remind us of the last decade and I am blessed to have the great man I do to be by my side forever. I love him more than I did back then and will even still in the next 10 more years. Love you babe!
