Gramps

Today is a special day to remember a great man!!!! My Grandpa, Robert Worley was born today and touched to lives of many throughout the years. He passed away last year and for this we will never forget. The honest, kind, generous, loving, funny, and smart guy he was. He was our "Gramps " and we loved him to the stars and back! He loved us more than he could show and was the most supportive man around. He came to dances, swim meets, school events, church events, and many of birthday's with my grandma and was so happy to see us. He spoiled us with treat and new pool toys or video games whenever he could and loves the smile it put on our face. He loved to play with us and take walks down by the canal always making sure we were safe. He enjoyed a good game of kick ball or wiffle ball in the cul-de-sac across the street. He was always the "Santa " at Christmas to pass out gifts, and he always had a new scary mask for when we came every Halloween. Scared us everytime but he made it so fun. Lots of sleepovers at their house with late night swimming and an early doughnut run or Denny's. He sure knew how to be an involved grandpa who touched our lives greatly!!! We will never forget you and can't wait to see you again.
PS This picture is from San Diego where we took lots of vacations to their condo and always watched the amazing, beautiful sunsets. This one's for you gramps.

Me

I am so blessed to have a great husband who loves me and encourages me to get away for girl's night's. Well I have had 2 in a row and LOVED IT!!!!!
Late last night I was able to go see a chick flick with my sis and it was a perfect night. Sat outside and pondered waiting for her to arrive and chatted with my sweet cousin. Got our tickets and went to get some popcorn, only to realize we had FREE coupons for drink and popcorn. What a deal shmeal!!!!!!!!! I was giddy too, as I had 3 more coupons for free popcorn and gave away to some happy people. Well at least they were happy after for the free popcorn. We saw a perfect movie and loved to message to remember not to take a day for granted. I also learned there is a spectacular word for lip smacking and I will let you know when I remember.

Today was another fab day as I spent the afternoon with my sis and cousin for her birthday. Tonight I was able to dine out with some good friends and eat delicious food and conversation. We then lounged around and enjoyed every second of my favorite Grey's!!!!!! I love it and can't wait for next week!
Thanks Ad for some time away and I love you MUCHO!!!!!!

Student of the month already!!!!!!

This guy is quite the comedian and a great student!!!! He got student of the month this month and we of course were proud parents. We went to celebrate and use his coupon at Red Robin this last weekend and he was so excited. He is so smart and reading so well. He loves math and is anxious to learn more. We are so happy for our big first grader and that he loves school.

Date Night

So a couple of weeks ago J had a birthday party to go to and M was sad so we decided to take her on a date. W had to come of course and we had so much fun.
What better place then Pee Wee!!!!! Yummy lettuce wraps and chicken and shrimp, I think I want that tomorrow!!!! (hint hint Ad) M was glowing as we focused on her and how her day was. She talked and talked and was s cute. W was great too, as she ate and ate and ate some more. M was so proud as she kept going to get one more cookie for W and J. She is always so thoughtful for her brother and loves him so much!
We had a great night and it was fun to get some one on one time. Plus they looked so cute and everyone told her how pretty she looked. I would have to agree pretty dang cute!!!!!!!

Fishing Fishing Fishing

Yes that is what my husband loves to do lately a lot. He has gone out with whoever will come and actually went by himself for his birthday because no one could come. Here he is after an outing with a good friend.

He also took a trip overnight and caught a record number of 129 fish.. YES 129 I didn't type wrong, however I know some of you think I am a writing disaster. 129 and he ever took a photo but I can't find it at the moment.

I am grateful he loves to be outside and enjoy this thing called fishin, because I must say he was quite the catch for me!!!!!!!!!

I'm One

So the festivites began with a morning breakfast of the usual oatmeal, but then a special treat of fruit loops! A big hit they were, off for a nap and then a birthday picture.

We then picked sister up from school and went on a lunch date with her great friend to Subway. After that she got her first taste of cake at her friends house and we even sang!

Later that night she put on her party clothes and was the princess of the party. She looked adorable in the ensemble some friends made, and was grinning most of the time, not knowing what was coming.

She had a spaghetti dinner with her b-day hat on and then she got to open presents and she loves her baby stroller/walker. She got her dance on as it played music.

Cake was next and she was so ready. She dug it like no child ever has and it was demolished in no time. She squeezed the leftover crumbs on her plate and squealed.

What a sweet girl you are and so loved by so many. J wrote her a sweet note for her big day and M drew her a picture. We had more partying on Sunday with my family and the cake performance was just as good, thanks to all of our family forher fun gifts and cute wardrobe! What a cute girl who will conitnue to grow so fast I hope we can cherish every second!!!!!!! Happy birthday!

I love to see the temple......

We had a great day at the temple last weekend and got to share a perfect day with my sister and her family.

Here is the handsome guy! He was so good and those blue eyes melt my heart!
Also this sweet girl was a star as she watched over her brother and posed for a cute pic. She was so beautiful in her princess dress.
I am so grateful to have a forever family and be a part of this forever family. What a memory and unbelievable day as they said his sweet name to be in their family!!!!!
Love you guys

Rain drops are fallin on my head!

Well this is what happens when your mom is busy on a Saturday and lets the kids play in the rain. First they were asking if they could go out and feel the rain drops. I obliged and off they went. Then minutes later they were at the door asking if they could take their shirts off. Quickly after that it was their pants. I said yes and hopefully no one was looking we only have one neighbor. They were having the best time

Being siblings is so special especially when they have such fun together and they did. They were even laughing as they threw mud. That was quickly stopped by me, but fun was still had by all involved.

M was queen of the world as she showed me her muscles. She wants to do anything J is doing and mud and sitting in puddles is what transpired. She had on yellow underwear, but it will never look clean again, and J's are dingy forever too! Oh well they can be camping pants now!
J came in after the no pants were approved and states" M just took her underwear off" I quickly put a stop to that and explained the gross water is very dirty.
What a great day!

I'm one!

Turns 1!!!!!!!

W is one!!!!! A lot has happened since this little gal entered the world. She has touched the lives of many with her sweet shy grin and loud squeal.

She crawls "army style" all over the house. She has even managed to learn the step up and down.

She has learned to say hi and wave and bye bye. She loves to hold the phone and babble to it usually no one is there.

She is a great sitter and sleeper and has been for awhile now. She also loves to eat, anything and everything and will continue to eat until the food is no longer in sight.

She loves to be cute and smile and has her dad wrapped so tight around her finger. She loves music and starts movin whenever she hears it. She loves the social life and wants to be with someone always, usually mom.

She has a great time with her brother and sister and they adore her and kiss and hug on her all day. She is one of the greatest joys I have and I can't imagine life without her! Love you W, Happy Birthday!

Colorado

Here is the Stanley Steamer and Mr Stanley himself we went on a little car ride and I wished my kids were there to ride as it putted along and squealed with the steam.

So Colorado was a great break and FREEDOM!!!!! I was allowed to sleep in, worry about only me getting ready in the am, only have a purse on hand if needed, no one to share with, and lots of quiet.(that was missed a lot I must say)

We ate great food, hung out with the funniest company, and were part of a phenomenal cause.

We ran into this big guy on the golf course in Estes Park. A lot of shopping was had and many taste testing sessions at all of the candy shops.

I got to spend some quality time with my parents that I will treasure. Not very ofter being an adult do you go on a trip with just your parents very special!!!!

Got to cheer on my sweet prego cousin as she walked in the 60 mile trek!!!!! She was a trooper and was actually hospitalized the first day. She recovered and finished with the last of em! I am so grateful for her and the motivation and inspiration she gives me. She is one of a kind and I love her lots!!!! I was able to walk a couple miles with her and what an honor to see and witness daughters, sisters, mothers, fathers, and husbands walking for this awful disease of breast cancer. I hope to walk those long memorable 60 miles one day, what an experience. I was changed for good this weekend and am so grateful for the new lease on life and rejuvenation it gave me!!!!

I was lucky enough to spend the morning with her and have a yummy breakfast and of course shopping!!!! We always have a fun time chattin it up, getting good deals, and I feel great in her company!
I am so grateful for her and her wonderful example and advice in my life.
Everyone needs a sister or someone close like a sister.
She is someone to laugh with, be silly with, talk to, cry with, vent to, feel comfortable with, help me out, not be judged by, take trips with, support me in labor, love my kids as her own, love me, know me better than almost my husband does, and makes me happy and a better person when I'm around her!!!
I am proud to be her sister and I couldn't ask for anyone better! Hope you have a good one!
