Today is a special day it is my grandma's birthday. She passed away a few years ago, but it has brought great memories to mind. I remember sleeping over and sleeping in her bed, while grandpa slept out on the couch. She didn't want the "spooks" to get me, or so she said. I remember waking up and helping get her coffee with cream and sugar. I remember her trying to get me to eat something for breakfast, even though she never ate anything.
I loved her way of not rushing and lounging around, she wanted to do whatever we wanted to do. We would go to the mall and see a movie or just to watch other people. We would go shopping just for me, go to McDonalds and get a happy meal, a rare thing in my family with 6 kids at home. Grams was one of a kind and I loved to sit on top of the couch and do her hair, sometimes not the greatest but she loved it. I also loved to do her toenails.
She was the littlest grandma who had a huge heart for us-her grandchildren. My children never got to know their great grandma , but I know they would have loved her lots too!
Miss you grams!!! You will always have a special place in my heart.

Life is Sometime's Way to Short
Pondering this day I think about our forever family and what a blessing that is. Today my cousin's baby passed away at only 1.5 pounds and 1 day old. I think of the future for her and the rememberance of her sweet little boy. Knowing that we all have a plan and we don't always know why bad things happen, but our Heavenly Father loves us and knows us. He has certain trials for each of us and we can only learn and grow for the better from them. As I try to think positive from this experience I am still saddened for her and her family and I ask that we all keep her in our prayers.
Cherish each day and don't let anger come between families. We only have one, let us always stay close and make eactother feel loved!! I love you all , Abby

Family
As today is September 11 and a very sad day to remember, I am so grateful for my sweet family. I listened to the radio on my way to take Jaxson to preschool and cried as I listened to Proud to be an American. I am so grateful for our freedom in this country and for my own choices I have to make. I am so grateful for those service people and families who were there 6 years ago to make a difference. I am in awe how so many lives changed in a few short minutes. I hurt for those who took life for granted, much like I do some days. I am grateful to have a forever family, and have the knowledge of our gospel. I have cherished today with my children and called my husband several times just to say hello. Life is so short and precious and I look back to a year ago with these pictures and how they have changed. I am so proud to be a mom and I hope I can be better daily and teach them as much as possible. Just keep in mind today and don't forget to tell your loved ones how much you really do love and care about them. Tragedy can sometimes bring us back to what really is important and what we can truly live without!!

The Great Outdoors
Adam went out for the opening of dove season. He and his brother caught their limit as you can see. He has been quite the outdoorsman these days. He and Jaxson went on a camping trip last weekend and took the boat of course. Jaxson had to go poop and went be the camper in the woods, but I guess not very far from camp. His uncle found him and he still had a suprise on his leg!! Later Uncle Aaron went in the camper and still smelled poop, he walked around and around and realized it was on his shoe, and now it was all over the camper. He cleaned that up and still smelled it later when they launched the boat, he had stepped in it again!!! It was an over all _____ y day at that!! They had a great time anyway
