Liver walk

Hi friends & family! I'm participating in the Liver Life Walk for the American Liver Foundation on Saturday March 28th. I started attending this event a few years back as a volunteer for the Donor Network and have been a walker for the last couple of years. The walk is a lot of fun for the family (especially if you have or like dogs, as it is a dog friendly walk). It's set up like an expo with different vendors, food, samples & fun stuff for the kids. Most importantly it supports my VERY favorite organization. If you are interested in joining my team or making a donation please click on the "Liver Life Walk" link above. It is free to sign up & any donation helps! My team name is Molly's Team (original, I know). For part of my fundraising I will be having a HUGE garage sale/Party at my house on Saturday March 21st. I welcome any donations to sell and I'll be accepting drop-offs the day prior. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or ideas @ mizzarks@yahoo.com . I have a goal to raise $300, but I can't do it without your help!!!

Love to Laugh!!!

So Jaxson has always been very funny and knows when something is funny. Ever since he was a little nubbin, ha laughed at parts from the Toy Story and they were at the appropriate times. Well we love to hear a see him laugh and he loves to watch "Funniest Home Video's". Well we have DVR and we have a bunch of episodes recorded , and when dad comes home him and dad have been watching episodes and laughing their hearts out. I love to sit in at the computer or in the kitchen and hear the glorious sound of a child's belly laugh. He is a joy in our lives and I hope he always has such a great sense of humor!!!

Pay it Forward

Thinking back to Christmas and giving, Jaxson and I were watching The Dugger's last night and they took a trip to do service and give to the poor. Jaxson was touched by this and commented that, the don't have any toys mom. I was quick to reply that yes he is very lucky and blessed to have all he has. I then share a story of his dad during Christmas time went to get his haircut and gave the lady 1oo extra dollars. He was shocked and said that was a ton of money and was she poor. I replied that yes she could use some more money. I then shared with him that she told Adam last week that she used some of the money and bought food for a family who didn't have much. Pay it Forward, that is what I shared with him. Service makes you feel good, and maybe someday you will need something or just a friend and it will happen. I am so grateful for times like these to teach our children and learn and grow.

Valentine's

So this year my husband really outdid himself!!! He couldn't wait for the big day so I got the gift Wednesday. He got me the nicest sewing machine!!!! I have been trying to strengthen my crafty side and a friend of mine has been helping, so he took the hint. I hopefully will be a sewing fool soon! Well I was a bad wife and due to our anniversary being so close to V-day we usually go small, well he got to take a trip to Cabela's a bought a few things for himself. Gotta love it when even with gifts, they don't always have to be equal right. We went out to Margarita ville for dinner Friday because I worked Saturday. We had a fun night with good company. Saturday Adam played with the kids and gave them their love notes and gifts Jaxson is pretty stoked about his heely's. I hope he doesn't get hurt wheeling around. Mya was as happy as ever with some candy and her notebooks for homework pretend and some word flashcards. She is speaking so much better and loves her homework!! Whitney just got lots of love and was happy as can be!!! Hope you all had a great day full of love, we are truly grateful for you and love you lots!!!!!!

Cousins

All of the girls from El Paso were here this weekend for a great cousin time!!!! Jaycie had a sleepover Friday which Jaxson always loves because they don't get to spend much time together now that they are big Kindergartner's. Then we met up with my dad and 5 of my nieces on Saturday at a Safety Fair in Peoria. My dad is truly a saint, he had no worries and walked around and enjoyed the weather and time with his grandchildren he is a fantastic Papa!!! All of the kids got a free bike helmet, and went on a bunch of bouncy houses. The older girls and Jaxson also got a fake cast on their wrist which they pretended it was broken. We had a picnic on the grass and played with a bunch of beach balls. Jaxson and his dad entered a contest with radio Disney and won!!!! He was the grand prize and got a cool buzz light year toy with a emergency pack. He was ecstatic!!!! It was a great day and then the older girls came for a sleepover. We went to church the next day and they loved seeing their old friends. Of course there was lots of tears when Jaxson and Kennedi said goodbye. I get all choked up too, the cousin bond is so important. I was a crybaby every time my cousins would have to go back to Colorado too. They are great friends and I am grateful for that !!!! Nothing like a long day to tire them out!!! I love me a sleeping child!
