Busy Days

Well trips to doctors and dentists and running everywhere has been on our agenda. I guess getting it done before summer will help right. However with all kids in tow we are crazy wherever we go.
I do love to see them play together and laugh. Today we picked Jaxson up from school and went to the gym(one of his favorite places) all of them went to play and had a great time with friends . After that we went and had dinner together and to the store. Not to eventful or crazy, but seeing them take care of Whitney and sharing their balloons and ice cream makes me happy. I sure am grateful to teach them and be their mom. The night ended by renting a movie for them and me, and snuggling on the couch together. I love a quiet Friday night, preparation for a BUSY Saturday of games and events. Love it!

Today

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from moving Sister Schenck's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know that I was really here and that I really lived."
-Marjorie Pay Hinkley

I read this and was tearful and reminded what a great example to all of us! I hope I can really live today!

Mya

This gal is one of a kind! She sure gives me a run for not the mom of the year award. I just feel like we are both stubborn and she knows which buttons to push. She has recently had such an issue with going to school and complains first thing when she wakes up. I don't want her to hate it so I don't make her go. Is this her manipulating the situation??? I do love having her home and know she only has a short time before she is gone all day. She and Whitney and I love our girls days out and I can't complain. However I do love her more that words can express and she does bring so much joy into our home. She loves music and Party in the USA and All the Single-Lets(Single Ladies) are her top 2 right now. She also is quite an artist and has been really into cutting and gluing LOTS of paper:) I sure love her raspy voice and crazy hair in the morning, and her dad is wrapped big time! Love you Laines

Easter Festivites!!!!!

Well we had quite a busy time! Here they are at the park prior to the Surprise Egg hunt. We had a picnic on Doughnuts and chocolate milk and took some cute pics.

We started off the party weekend with a hunt in the dark on Friday with lots of friends and our cousins!
Here is Jaycie lookin through the loot!
Mya and her bag of goodies, she just kept it in hand all weekend and added more to it! It is currently disposed of without her knowing! She is a bag lady of all time. She was in heaven with her papers and stickers and dying kit! She used the cups for more storage containers!
Jaxson was the smart one who didn't go for any of the eggs! He said I don't really want any candy, I only wanted the cool things!
Here is our little Easter egg. She is so sweet and was overwhelmed with all the eggs!
The 2 peas in a pod! They are great friends and love to be together! We are thinking Lucas and Whitney will be the same because we make them hug and kiss each other all the time! They are 4 months apart too!
This little guy loved all the "balls" he was happy just holding one egg the whole night!
On Saturday we ventured out to the Surprise EGGSTRAVAGANZA!
Visiting the Easter bunny was a hit! Whitney just wanted to look at him and not take a picture!
Sometimes you just want to chill and that is how I felt on Sunday after going from place to place all weekend!
My mom and papa cheesin for a cute pic! He is a great papa and we love that he can come to all the events!
Luke wasn't that interested in the food, just pushin the stroller!
The fams at a delicious dinner! So glad to have my dad home for the weekend!
On the hunt again! Here is J and his cousin Lin! On a race for the most eggs and money!
The princess finding one and shaking it!
The sweet lady with hair blowing in the wind!
A hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Emmi loved it too! Dad and Grandpa hid the eggs super hard, but the kids were still able to find them!
The cheeser!
Jaxson was such a detective! He found all of the good eggs!
On the run for it! What a beautiful garden Grandma has!
The 3 peeps! They are so sweet! Jaxson didn't want purple for his outfit, so I settled for the blue.

Dyeing eggs was so fun. They painted them and then wrote on them like we did growing up! Grandpa owes $1, Bobba owes $1. Jaxson was so excited about getting the money eggs and thought it was so cool that I did that as a girl!
Mya did a drawing on a lot of them too.

All of the egg dyer's! I sure love this holiday! Hope you all had a great one!

Baseball

So a new season of ball has happened. Dad is the coach and Jaxson loves to be the first basemen and the catcher.
He is so CUTE!!!!! He had some great hits last night, but the other team had 3 triple plays! Talk about killer players they were twice his size and awesome!!!!
I sure love this guy and how he puts all his heart into things. He loves this sport and is a great hitter. He had quite a fan club last night with Aunt Molly and Elliot and Jaycie, and Bobba and Papa and even old Papa came too! We all go to go to dinner after also which was quite a treat what fun times while Papa was home for the weekend! Way to go Jaxson!

Retreat!

A treat of a trip that is! I got to take a getaway to go visit my cousin and her sweet new baby! Thanks to my great friends, family and Adam everyone was alive when I returned!
Here we are after a long relaxing walk in the woods! We had the best weather, sunny with wind most of the time but I adjusted! I sure do love this gal and the great friend and person she is! We had a awesome time chatting, eating, and laughing of coarse!
Her little guy Van is a ball of energy and he kept us entertained also. Here he is running ahead after feeding the horses! He was the man of the ranch all week and he knew the ropes for sure!
Here is one of the cabins on the ranch I guess I didn't get a pic of hers but it is great too! It was so quiet there not a neighbor in sight. The ranch is only open in the summer for a bible camp and so the winter is pretty quiet!
Here is Miss Annalisa! She is one of the sweetest things ever! She was a great baby and loved to snuggle! I never passed up an opportunity to hold and kiss on her! I also loved to dress her up and put bows in her head!
The adventure began on day one as we were to feed the cows and horses! I am a city girl and this was a new thing for me! So off we went in our boots, bundled up in jackets and gloves! The funny thing was, she just had a c-section and while I was holding the baby she was trying to run and open the gate TRYING is the key word. You don't run after having a baby and I was laughing so hard because in the meantime the cows were running at the truck! We are sitting in the little s-10 and the tailgate is down and a small mount of hay is back there. Well they are surrounding us by now and with their long horns and speed I was nervous. They start eating out if the back and mind you Nina is still opening the gate. I ask Van what we do and he says I guess just let them!
So laughing and laughing some more as she tries to hurry back to the truck!
We took a ride around lake Glendo and it was HUGE! Van had to get out to throw some rocks and it was raining and we saw a rainbow!
Here I am with the babe post feeding! Lookin a bit rough, but with the wind blowin and the hay flying this is what you get. Oh an you get some hay in your teeth too if you have been talking or laughing like we were. So cute!
More feedin every morning and I got in my workout of lifting the 100 pound bails into the truck, almost peed my pants a few times, I guess that's what 3 kids does to some!
The little angel! I miss her sweet face and the mouth smell of a newborn!!!!
An this little tike he was sure fun and entertaining. We got to play trains and watch Hachi, a great movie! Well the trip was relaxing and so fun! I missed my family a lot and I think it is good to have time apart to reunite and appreciate each other more! Thank you Nina for a fab time and I am already planning the next one!!!

Park Days!

The weather has been FANTASTIC!!!!! Today is exceptionally windy but love to have the windows open!
We have had many park days and and enjoying the outdoors while we can! Mya loves the swings and will swing all day if you will let her! Hope we get a swing set soon before she doesn't like it anymore!
Lots of friend and tag of coarse! Also on this day there was a bit of golf played and some putting! Love to have good friends for my sweet kids to play with, and great friends for me too!
What a sweetie feeding herself a lot! She spent lots of time eating at the park! I guess great people watching too!
Hope we get in a lot more great park days!
