Love those times

I love these kids more and more each day. I have been more observant of them and the way they interact. They are so sweet and truly love each other.
Today they were playing in Jaxson's room, Mya had the Lego's and was building a "ship" per he big brother. He tells he "great job" and keeps on building. In the background I watched and the radio was playing. Jaxson stands up and asks her to dance. The dance and laugh with Jaxson singing "shift work" as the song recites. I peek in and he asks me to dance with the both of them. I cherish times like this when they do the sweetest most innocent things and hope that it never changes.
I hope this kind of love and friendship lasts for all the years to come. I am so grateful for my sibling and the closeness we have. I am honored to be the mother to these wonderful little spirits and hope I can teach them all they need to know to be good people in the future.
I am grateful for sweet reminders like this to let us know why we continue to go forward and even through the bad days know that these times out weigh those bad ones.

My Sister

This is my sweet sister Molly. She is one of a kind and a great example in my life. She is always to one to play in the McDonald's play land, and be the super fun Aunt. This is her playing hide n seek with the kids at my house. You may be wondering where she is well this is where her one of a kind comes in. She is on the 6th shelf of my pantry which is about 11 feet tall. She climbed all the way up there and the kids couldn't find her. They went in there several times but never looked up. I was worried the whole time what I would do if the shelf broke, it didn't but she found some dust way up there. Awhile later she revealed herself and they thought she was so cool. The kids then wanted to find the best hiding spot. They had a awesome time and she made it that way.
She is a great friend and mother and I am honored to be her sister. She knows me better than most and always has good advice when I need it or not. I am so thankful to have her as my sister and the closeness that we share. Sisters are so special and I am proud to be hers.

Brotherly Love

These kids are so funny!!! Jaxson was out riding the tractor and Mya was crying for a ride he kept tormenting her and riding by her. Finally after many attempts to get on he helped her on. They were so cute as they rode around and stopped to see the birds and chickens who flew over the fence. They would get off and back on again Mya getting whiplash several times when Jaxson gunned it.
I love to see them get along and play. It is the joy of my life when Mya is laughing hysterically at something he did or when they are playing hide n seek and she can never stay hidden.
Kids are truly a gift and I am so honored to be their mom, they teach me so much everyday. I hope I can be the same for them.

Father and Sons

I think this was the first real father and son camp out that Jaxson has gone too. He was super excited and I think Adam was also. They went with some of our good friends The Pearces. It was an early start on Friday so they could get some fishing in. From what we were told they fished for about 5 hours and didn't catch a thing. I am sure the boys were getting into mischief and they were really cold so they went to the car. The dads couldn't let the day be wasted so they went to another spot ans ended up getting 12 fish.

They went back to camp to find a lot of tents set up by theirs but no one they knew. It was a different ward and they couldn't find ours anywhere. They didn't care they had some fish to cook and smores to make. The boys had a great time making a big fire and ended up crashing out by the fire all snuggled up in blankets.
I am so grateful for a good husband and a son who cherishes him. He can't wait for him to come home and "battle" (wrestle) with him. He loves to stay up on weekends with him and play "intendo". He laughs at his dads jokes and thinks he is the most cool dad around. I am so happy to have a dad who is such an example to his kids and takes special time to spend with them.

Farm Day!!!!

A couple of weeks ago we went to a farm day for Mya's therapy. It was so fun!!! All of the kids, picked strawberries, carrots, and juiced their own oranges and drank it. Of coarse there were a lot of animals too. Mya loved the bunnies and was so timid of the sheep it was really loud. My niece Jaycie went and she and Jaxson ran around and did all they wanted to do, Jaycie even planted a flower plant in a cup to take home. I am so grateful to have good programs for kids and people who really care. Mya is so much better since she has been involved with this and I count my blessings every day because there are a lot of families who have children with disabilities and it is very challenging. Mya is saying more and more each day and she loves the Alicia Keys song and says,"No one No one No one". It is soooooo cute.

Summer Already!!!!

So summer is here!!! Well I think so at 89-96 degrees. My kids thought so too!! Here we are with some friends at the splash park by our house. They had a great time and played for a couple hours. I however should start getting in too. I am going to roast in this heat I guess I forgot that part when we got pregnant. ha ha
The kids also had a great time last week with their El Paso cousins and went swimming in Bobba's pool. Most of them were pretty timid and wanted to wear floaties. Anyhow they had a great time and it cooled them off for the day.
We miss them so much but spent every minute wisely with sleepovers, walks, swimming, sprinklers, rope swings, and lots of trampoline time. They all pick right up where they left off and were the best of friends the whole time. Hopefully we will be able to visit them soon when they finish their remodel.
Have a fun summer!!!
